We are delighted to finally introduce our new company website, that has been a while in the making.
It (hopefully) will showcase our Passive Fire Services and Consultancy, but instead of being a static entity, frozen in aspic. This will be changing, dynamic because it will be constantly updated to show (and tell) the work we have done and are doing on passive fire consultancy and installations.
Firstly, a thank you to Stuart Walton of Get Pro Copy, Manchester, for creating this new website so quickly and professionally. He has agreed too to take on a roving marketing role for us, highlighting Ember Fire’s work on here, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Secondly, a big thank you to our many clients across the UK who continue to place trust in our important work of protecting people and buildings from the very real threat of fire.
We would like to highlight our work in Harrogate too that Stuart documented last weekend.
First up is 13-15 Regent House, on Albert Street, a beautiful Victorian terraced building, where the team at Ember Fire carried out:
- Fire door remedials
- Fire stopping (compartmentation)
- Boarding
- Coating
It was renovated in the 1980s and sits in an enviable position, close to the town centre and “The Stray”, a 200 acre stretch of green land that greets you on arrival by road from Leeds, and ends at the Montpellier Quarter, where we worked on Hudson Buildings (the focus of our next blog post).
You can of course read what fire door remedials and fire stopping entails on the more in-depth service pages, at your leisure.
Harrogate is a town we enjoy working in – Joshua, our director, is based in Nottinghamshire himself, with our expert team dotted around England. It has fairly easy road (and rail) access from places like Leeds, just 15 miles away. It is a beautiful spa town that, with Leeds, York is sometimes referred to as “The Golden Triangle of Yorkshire.”
It has a diverse population too of all ages and the town is a splendid mix of chains and independents with the famous “Betty’s” and its renowned “fat rascal” literally down the road from Regent House.
Their website describes fat rascals well:
“These plump, fruity scones are hand-decorated with a cheeky glacé cherry and almond face. Made to our special Fat Rascal recipe, these Yorkshire scones are a firm favourite and one of our most popular products ordered online. We only use natural ingredients, so our Fat Rascals are best enjoyed on the day of delivery.”
We are obviously too busy on passive fire consultancy and installations to fully immerse ourselves in the Betty’s food and drink and Stuart, an impatient type, refused to queue there on his visit last Sunday!
Harrogate is not frozen in time either – new buildings rub shoulders with classy period property and conversion, and it is, arguably, the Jewel in the Crown of the north of England.
Make sure too that you follow both our LinkedIn and Instagram channels and share this new website with friends, family and connections to amplify our reach.
